This was a school project, where the task was to make a country inspired by the designer Katrín Ólína. As she works mostly with figures and creatures of her imagination, I made a literal country of imagination. The country is an island in the shape of the creative left brain hemisphere, and its creatures all revolve in some way around the currency of the country, an idea. Some create them, some collect them, others try to steal them and consume them. All of the creatures represented different states of mind, curiosity, humility, fear or pride. The story of country is in the form of a nursery rhyme for which I composed music on an old fashioned music box.
